Jeffrey founded the Academy of Health in 2020 to increase access to massage education through hybrid delivery of education. He is passionate about wellbeing through massage and bodywork. He has been a Wisconsin licensed and Board-Certified massage therapist since 2011. He has studied over 30 different forms of massage and bodywork. He holds a diploma in therapeutic massage from Madison College, a bachelor’s degree from St. Norbert College, master’s degree from Cardinal Stritch University and a doctorate of health professions education degree from Logan University. He volunteers with the American Massage Therapy Association and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. He has received the AMTA’s Teacher of the Year Award (2019), AMTA-Wisconsin Chapter Meritorious Service Award, and has been inducted into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame.
