Marquette Physical Therapy ComMUnity Clinic

The Marquette ComMUnity Clinic is a probono clinic that provides free physical therapy services to people in the Milwaukee community that don't have health insurance and/or physical therapy coverage. The services are provided both on Marquette's campus as well as at Concordia 27. Teams of student physical therapists, supervised by a licensed PT, provide patient-centered and trauma-informed care to patients with injuries, pain, neurological conditions, and more. The goal of the clinic is to provide quality, evidence-based PT services directly to people in the community that would otherwise be unable to obtain these services.

Our approach prioritizes patient accessibility and comprehensive care, ensuring everyone, regardless of their financial situation, receives high-quality treatment. We emphasize trauma-informed care by creating a safe, supportive environment, recognizing the impact of trauma on health and physical functioning, and we tailor our interventions to meet each patient's unique physical and psychological needs. This holistic approach fosters trust and promotes healing in a respectful and empathetic manner.
