Vannessa is a Milwaukee native focused on what can be rather than what is.

She has an innate ability to recognize and repurpose “challenging” behaviors. For the past nine years Vanessa has served as a SKY Schools Instructor at Bay View HS, Longfellow MS and Escuela Verde HS, and Pathways HS.  Vanessa also leads trainings and workshop for WCS—Wisconsin Community Services.  Her hope for the next generation and beyond is that they will have a space where their voices can be heard. Her mission is to continue creating these spaces through collaborative work, restorative practices and meditation. In addition to SKY Schools, Vanessa also facilitates community building workshops for WCS, Wisconsin Community Services.
